Unemployment in India

Lack of Career-Related Discussions

People often avoid discussing career-related questions or interactions. From childhood through college, conversations tend to focus on entertainment and gossip rather than career development. Friends and peers usually don't provide guidance on finding a good career or enhancing skills for university.

Limited Guidance from Schools and Colleges

Schools and colleges typically offer only basic knowledge. Friends mostly discuss gossip and entertainment rather than career planning. This lack of career guidance is a major problem contributing to unemployment in India.

Mobile Addiction

Android mobiles were introduced in India in 2007, and this generation has since become highly addicted to their devices. Students and others spend considerable time scrolling through social media and consuming entertainment content, with the average person spending at least 4 hours per day on social media.

Negative Mindset

Some people dismiss productive activities as a waste of time. For example, in a group where students are discussing their careers, one person might shout out that such discussions are pointless, saying that college life is meant for enjoyment. This negative mindset can discourage others from focusing on their careers.

Insufficient Career Perspective

Many people and students lack a clear career mindset and don't know where to start building their career journey. They often follow the same path as those around them, working simply to earn a salary without considering long-term career goals. This environment reinforces a limited perspective on career development.
